Coach Milena enters her 4th year as a head coach at Libero. Milena brings lots of love and passion for the game, as well as many years of experience coaching at different levels and years of experience as a former collegiate player.
Milena is a firm believer in providing players the opportunity to be able to achieve their athletic goals in an environment that is safe, positive and educational. She believes in the power of athletics to not just build better players but also develop better people on and off the volleyball court. Her top priorities are teaching players to have love and passion for the game, emphasizing basic skill and individual player development and teaching players to be well-rounded by instilling life skills such as responsibility, commitment, trust, and teamwork. Her goal is to train athletes to be proactive learners, show accountability, set high standards and believe in their ability.

Coach Kory believes in creating a positive learning environment where the youth learn sportsmanship, fundamental skills, teamwork, and responsibility. Coach Kory feels that players can learn life lessons and skills from their development on and off the court. Coach Kory likes to focus on programs that emphasize skill development, fair play, teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship and responsibility.

In addition to coaching volleyball, Coach Borde has coached soccer with Jefferson Youth Soccer Association in the American Youth Soccer Organization and Loudoun Soccer, Football with the AYFL and Baseball with DLL. He also has organized and supervised a number of volleyball tournaments, clinics and camps within the area.
In addition to his duties as a coach, Coach Borde is married and is the father of 4 children, all of who are involved in sports in the community. He is a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn, VA and supports the Ashburn community through sponsored fund raising programs. He believes athletics can be used to teach life lessons that can be used to help student athletes fulfil their calling to greater futures. He has lived in Northern Virginia since 1989 and has been an integral part of the community through various community organizations, clubs and school programs.
PLAYING HISTORY
As a player Coach Borde has played Volleyball at the High School level and beyond. He was an integral part in his High School’s dominance and Championship victory during the SAISA (South Asia International School Association) conference tournament in 1987. He has also competed in multiple clubs throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland and Florida in both beach and indoor Volleyball. Coach Borde attended the University of Tampa where he played soccer at the collegiate level.

Coach Stephanie has been coaching at John Champe High School since last year. She is the Head Varsity and Head Freshman Coach. She coached Volleyball at Paul VI Catholic High School for 3 years and was a Coach at Northern Virginia Volleyball Association (NVVA) from 2018-2020. She has been playing volleyball since she was in middle school, and played all four years in high school and was captain of the Varsity team her senior year. She continued to play club at George Mason and was president of the club her junior year.
She graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Events Management with a minor in Criminology this past summer.

Coach Faidra is a former volleyball player who was born and raised in Athens/Greece, where she played professionally for almost 20 years. During that time she was also conducting volleyball training for young athletes.
She is a firm believer that in order to be good at something, you first have to love doing it. Nothing great happens without passion.
Her job is to do everything she can to help those she coaches grow, develop, and succeed individually and collectively. She always provides an opportunity to develop their skills and create a learning environment that is constantly challenging and enjoyable.

Coach Kristin enjoys sharing her love of the game and all things volleyball with any players she works with. She insists on a positive upbeat learning environment in which her players can improve their individual and team skills. She has been playing continuously since 1994, at every level, High School, NCAA DII, Adult USAV. At each level she has excelled and wishes to help another generation of players earn their own success and learn from the many lessons volleyball has to teach on and off the court.
Coach Kristin has a BFA from the State University of New York, Purchase, and MA in Art Therapy/Expressive Therapies from NYU. She has worked in hospitals, residential treatment centers and jails in NY, DC and VA with children, adolescent, and adult populations. She currently works as a
Therapist at a clinic in Falls Church, VA. She lives in Fairfax County with her husband and 3 children.
